Simone likes when the rope rests on her head. To feel the weight of it and to be sensitive in her neck so it doesn't slip off. It's strange to her to think of how she came to know a length of cotton so well.
Simone spent her childhood in upstate New York. She remembers it fondly, for its water and woods, and for the moments it was blanketed in snow. When she was thirteen she began to do circus, she loved how it felt in her body, so she continued. With a little nudge, like a rock rolling down a hill, she arrived in Sweden. Here she passes her days happily, moving with the rope. She is grateful for everyone who helped her arrive here at the end of her studies.
