Florimond Dumas
Florimond draws his inspiration from classical music, an art form he deeply admires and loves. He incorporates classical music composiƟon principles into the way he writes juggling.
The audience will experience the premiere of a juggling “Concerto”, comprising three distinct segments. The first part, "The Prelude", marks the beginning of this artistic journey. Then, Florimond introduces "The Bolero", inspired by Ravel’s one. Finally, the performance concludes with "The Ode to the Joy of Juggling", drawing inspiration from Beethoven's iconic "Ode to Joy".
Florimond is a circus artist and musician, he began his artistic journey at a young age. Initiated into the world of circus at the age of three and music at six, he has pursued these passions since. His educational path has started with the preparatory circus school, "Piste d'Azur," and then he went to Stockholm University of the Arts. His artistic development has led him to an expression in which he combines his passions by using his guitar and juggling in his performances and shows.
His act is a celebration, the one of his 20th year anniversary of doing circus and juggling. It is an ode to what he loves and what he has done throughout his life.
